“Woah. This book packs a punch, and is a darling little sequel. So many plot twists and turns 'till the last page to keep you riveted to the book. Amazingly well written with the balance of heartbreak and joy. Nice job, Dawn Cook. Bravo! Encore?”

I have to say I hated the ending!
I actually liked this book better than the first one, except the ending killed me!
I vote redo :)”

This sequel to The Decoy Princess is even better than the first one. Again we have magic, adventure and fun, but we also get a bit of love. Tess learns more magic, and gets in more trouble... and Captain Jeck has a big part on this book too. We learn more about the Players and how they work as well. A mystery and a conspiracy are introduced and solved, which change your whole thinking about certain characters. It made me want to read the first book again. I enjoyed getting to know Princess Contessa and Duncan better but especially getting to know more about Jeck. A fun book I recommend to everyone. ”
