I like this book alot. At first the mood becomes sad but then brightens up in the end. I like how Sara would persevere and would keep her hopes up.

Once upon a place called London, there lived a princess, or so she pretended to be. Sara Crewe was given her heart's desires at old Miss Minchin's boarding school. She had closets full of furs and silks and laces, and a whole collection of magnificent dolls with a complete wardrobe of their own. Sara could only imagine what it would be like to be truly miserable. But then one day she tastes a little sip of fate and is suddenly tragically poor. Although she is poor, she still forces herself to be a strong soldier and act like a princess no matter what. The classic that has won the hearts of millions. The tale of the transition of a girl from princess to pauper. As all fairy tales do, will this one have a happy ending? To find out, read A Little Princess!

This book is sad,a little girl is sent away to a boarding school because, her dad is in the armey. During the middle of the story, she get's a mail that said, you do not have enough mony, to go to this bording school, because you have no one to pay for it, your father is dead. But in the end, he is not really dead, she sneaks away to the neighbour, with police chasing her, because she is running away from her job of being a slave.Last but not least they found each other, but the father doesn't remember her, will she live her life like a slave with no dad, or will she live with a dad and a house, just read the book to find out!

I like historical fiction, so I liked this book. If anyone gets annoyed by old-fashioned talk, then I wouldn't suggest this. Only girls would like this.
