“I like this book a lot. I'd recommend this to girls (especially with big hopes and dreams).The end is a big twist so you kinda feel like you can't believe it's true. This book basically tell a story how a girl would feel in Miri's place. I like this book and I think you would like it. ”

“This was our first book club book, and the only reason I put 2 stars was because it was kind of funny and scary to the "princesses". If someone asked me if they should read this, I would say no try something else.”

“Miri lives on a mountain where, for generations, her ancestors have quarried stone and lived a simple life. Then word comes that the king's priests have divined her small village the home of the future princess. In a year's time, the prince himself will come and choose his bride from among the girls of the village. The king's ministers set up an academy on the mountain, and every teenage girl must attend and learn how to become a princess.
