“This story is a twisted version of a classic fairytale but instead of the prince doing the saving, the Princess saves the Prince by outsmarting the dragon. Even after saving him the Prince still wants almost nothing to do with her due to her paper bag outfit. I love the way the princess saves the prince and how she is shown as a smart and capable character instead of being hopeless. I would use this book for girls in my classroom who were maybe having a rough time with growing up. ”
