White Noise by Don DeLillo was actually okay for an assigned English book. It was about a man suffering from the idea of death. He couldn’t decide whether he wanted to accept it and live his life around his impending death or accept it and live each day as if it weren’t in his mind. Jack and his wife Babette live with their children from each of their various marriages though they have no actual kids together.
