This story was very deep with many life lessons to learn even today in life with certain things, Racism still goes on today, people being killed because of there ethnic groups and backgrounds. You always have to watch your mouth and carefully choose what you say when you talk about different cultures. But this book definitely got a 5/5 from me. If you haven't read it yet you should.

this book was pretty good. I thought it was kinda slow in the middle, but the message is great.

I read this book when I was about nine, and it made me weep. Taylor described racism through the eyes of Cassie in a way I'll never forget. This one is one of my faves...
