"Amazing to read what a woman't life is like in Saudi Arabia. The wealth, opulence, yet degradation that women are exposed to in this country. At one point, I almost stopped reading the book but I couldn't put it down at the same time." A continuation of Princess and Princess Sultana's Daughters.

This third book of the Princess trilogy tell us the story about the struggle of the princess and her daughter to save one of her nieces from an early marriage, rights and freedoms of underage girls who were sold to rich men, but again.. they just couldn't do much about it..
This book isn't as good as the previous two books, but at least we can learn something from the true life story of the princess herself that wealth really doesn't buy happiness and freedom :)

This is the first of Jean Sasson's books that I've read. Compelling and gripping. Sad truths about the plight of women in Saudi Arabia. Not for the faint hearted, but I recommend any of Jean Sasson's books to everyone. She is the voice of the voiceless and her work is to be highly commended. Go on, I dare you to have the courage to read her books and do something about it.

Wanted to gag on the "Oh poor me, what can I do, I am so helpless" tone of the book.
It degrades the women who are making a difference.
