If you need fun reading for lazy summer afternoons, this is definitely it. All of Wodehouse's works are hilarious, but the Blandings Castle series is my favorite.

This is perhaps my favourite Wodehouse book. Lord Emsworth has to contend with 9 domineering sisters, a brother who cant stay out of trouble, 2 sons , a daughter and inlaws that bother him. All he wants to do is be left to himself so he can potter around his garden.
His prize sow, the Empress of Blandings, wins the coveted Fat Pigs contest several years in a row. The Empress's primary competitor is the Pride of Matchingham, who belongs to Sir Gregory Parsloe-Parsloe, Emsworth's neighbour and rival. Their rivalry is hilarious. A must read!
