This is another beautiful Christian/historical fiction love story about finding your way back to Jesus and finding love the right way. This makes you believer in God again.

OK, I'm going to be pretty honest I really didn't like this book!
I guess I didn't like this book because it talks mostly about parenting.
This book has exactly 461 pages (if you read it in large print, like me).
the book deals in London England and the story starts out in May...

All right book. It shows just what happens when your under pressure and what happens when you trust God with that pressure.

3 1/2 please. It was a good book but not my favorite. Actually I checked out from the library months ago and then returned it half read because I got bored. I checked out from the library again and started where I left off and finished it. I enjoyed it, but it was not my favorite.

OK, I'm going to be pretty honest I really didn't like this book!
I guess I didn't like this book because it talks mostly about parenting.
This book has exactly 461 pages (if you read it in large print, like me).
the book deals in London England and the story starts out in May 1810.
    The main characters are:
    Jennings
    Penny
    James
    Thomas
    Marianne
    Lydia
Lydia recently found out that her cousin has passes away and she is shocked when she finds out that her brother is left with his three children. Now her brother Jennings has always been an odd person, he is a bachelor who is absolutely disgusted by women. Lydia becomes very concerned about the three children how could Jennings ever raise children?
But Jennings on the other hand is very glad about the children. He always wished for a son without the trouble of getting married. Now not only dose he have a son but he has two:
James and his brother Thomas. But things change when he finds out that the two brothers also have a sister named Penny. So he quickly comes up with the plan to simply leave Penny under the supervision of a cruel nanny. However things don't run so smoothly when the boys decide to run away because the nanny has treated their younger sister so badly. Later on Jennings runs after the children and promises to fire the nanny. Jennings doesn't know what to do so he decides to flee to his sister Lydia's manor because he believes she could help him with his parenting problems. As he visits his sister he falls in love with Marianne and decides to propose to her...
Out of all the characters I think Penny is my favorite because no matter what the circumstance is she can always make every one smile.
this was definitely a book I wouldn't recommend if you don't have children for your self because 2/3 of the book are on parenting.

There were no real surprises. But it was an enjoyable, simple, Christian based love story. A fun read! I'll read more of her books. It kind of reminds me of Jeannette Oaks books.

Surprised that I liked this series as it is not the norm for me. Truth be told, I couldn't put it down, or the nnext, or the next, etc.
