I loved this book! It was a very quick read that hit close to home. Often I found myself laughing out loud!

I'm looking forward to reading other books by this author and hope that I enjoy them just as much!

For anyone who has ever struggled with their weight, this book truly speaks from within- things I have definitely thought and felt at one time or another. Funny without making fun...

What a fabulous book! I wasn't sure at first if I was going to like this; I think I was afraid that it would just turn into another 'Jemima J', where the main character doesn't feel happy until she loses weight. With Maggie, though, I found a heroine that I actually liked, and finally, a character that loses weight because she's happy - not the other way around!

I was really looking forward to reading this. This book has many great reviews on amazon. Glad I asked people here , someone told me it took her a while to get into it but afterwards she did enjoy it. Well glad I knew cause I had the same problem. I think it took me 1/3rd to finally get into the book but when I did I really enjoyed it.

I thought this was another chick-lit book but way more. There is great development of charachters, which we can all relate too.

The author Liza Palmer is such a sweetheart. I interviewed her once before and later got the chance to meet her at RWA Nationals in Dallas, TX. I loved the way this story showed two sides to the issue of weight loss and created a sympathetic character with realistic goals. The heroine also did not need to lose weight to get the hero, another twist on the usual cliche, which aws great. The story was well told, fast paced, emotionally packed--a highly recommended read.
