- Linda Martin: Linda Martin is the mother of Bobby, Judy, and Susie and is married to Charles Martin. Linda is a kind, Christian woman and has dedicated her life to taking care of her family and protecting her children from her husband's alcohol addiction.
- Charles Martin: Charles Martin is married to Linda Martin and the father of Bobby, Judy, and Susie Martin. Charles has an alcohol addiction. After tragedy strikes his family Charles learns the hard way of God's love and forgiveness.
- Shirley Jacobs: Shirley Jacobs is married to John Jacobs. Shirley has experienced great loss time and time again while trying to conceive a baby. After a devastating series of events occur in the lives of her dear friends, she finds her one true opportunity to become the mother she has always longed to be.
