I read this boook recently and I liked it. It really had some weird things in there that were kinda creepy. But I liked it.

I HATED THIS BOOK!!!!!!! I had to read it for school this year and it was soooooooooooooo wierd, she fallls in love with an old guy that's like 60 yrs older than her, and then she falls in love with his hands, wishes she was a guy, oh and totally HATES her sister and has dreams about killing her with her own bare hands, only old creepers would like this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book is not a good read. She falls in love with this old guy, hates her sis, and wishes she was a guy. Now were these assets in the book to convey that she has a messed-up life? One she wouldn't have if she were an only child? I don't know, but if you need a different read, go for it. Just feel ready for disapointment.

I found this book to be a little weird. I herd that I was suppost to be a really good book but I really didn't get the idea of it. I love Katherine Paterson's other books though. I just don't understand how she could just up and leave her home and never come back for anything but funerals.
