“Forget about Harry Potter. You never read it. If you can't do that, then remember that this is Rowlings first book for adults. It is a convoluted story with complex characters and many underlying social concerns. Rowling is a very talented writer. The average rating of 3 stars is because this book didn't hold my interest, and I didn't relate to any of the characters. A very good read, and deserving of a wide audience nonetheless.”
