This was a really good book. I really like the characters and the story. I will read more of Loretta's books. I enjoy her books a lot.

I normally like Chase's work but this one was almost a DNF for me which is rare. I can suspend reality easily when reading historical romance but much of this plot was even a stretch for me. Frankly, the book was boring.

I loved this book so much--actually much better than the previous one. Sophie is so quick minded and has so many schemes, all rolling around in her head, that even I had a hard time keeping up with her. Harry was the grounding force, someone who could keep the balloon from rising too high. Falling in love was not hard but it was such a good story that it seemed to flow along as it would in real life. The whole book reminded me of "Last Night's Scandal" and the Lisle's even made a cameo mention.

Another classic Chase novel. I didn't like this one as much as the previous book in the trilogy, but still pretty good. I love how normal the hero is.

I didn't like Sophy, Clara or Harry. There didn't seem to be any real chemistry between Sophy and Harry. They did not really like each other much and while there was lust, there wasn't love or trust or even respect IMO. And i really could not have cared less what happened to any of them. A real disappointment.
