- Unnamed main character: I purposely left him without a name in the first story written, "Rainforest of Bones" (which originally appears in the "Skeletal Remains" anthology... an interesting note: the scene in the beginning of "The Devil and The Cenote" short story, where he is talking to the Spaniard, references "Origin" from JA Konrath with the Spaniard's tale.
