Reading a Mark Leyner book is the literary equivalent of doing speed, or coke, or even coffee. I had a calculus teacher recommend this book, which is surprising as it's not something you would expect out of a calc teacher, but she was no ordinary calc teacher. There's a chapter of Neanderthal man controlling the remote control that I still smile when I reflect on. I think in another Leyner book he talks about internal radioactive tattoo's that only your radiologist could see, which still...
