This is a wonderful, imaginative book. I would have students in my classroom write their own story to go along with the illustrations. We could write a class book, or students could each write their own stories explaining what happens in the book. I think this is a great writing prompt for...

This is such an interesting book. I love the idea of wordless books! For the classroom, I would have students write words to the book.

This is a hilarious almost-wordless picture book about what happens one Tuesday night when a troop of toads go flying through town on their lily pads. The illustrations are reminiscent of the 1960’s comic book styling. The cartoon animals have wonderfully expressive faces that children will enjoy interpreting. This would make a terrific addition to a writer’s workshop curriculum for k-5th grade.
