In a way, this is the kind of biography I've always wanted to see about a performer or artist. Rather than simply say "Sellers filmed The Party with director Blake Edwards," Sikov goes into detail on Sellers's filmography, naturally spending more time on Sellers's major works. He also gives a detailed analysis of the important films, and hits the highlights of the not-so-important - along with memorable radio and television appearances.
