I loved this book. It was the first time I read Pilcher. I feel it is her best book. I hated to se the story end, I felt like I lost a best friend when the book ended. If you have't read Pilcher, READ THIS first.

I loved this book. I read another by Rosamund Pilcher 'Sleeping Tiger' which I enjoyed as well - most probably because the character had my name. lol.

I picked this up in the library at random but totally loved it. Went around recommending it to everyone I spoke to after I'd got into it, so it must be good!

This is one of my go to books. When I need to lose myself in a well written book, I often reach for The Shell Seekers. I also like the concept of even though we love our children, we don't always like them. September has a little continuation from this book. It's not as engrossing, but it's an easy read.
