- Rick Morrison: Andrew Morrison's father. Andrew last saw his father walk out the front door and get into a car with another woman. He resents his father for leaving him and his mother.
- Bridget Beaumont: Harlow Beaumont Ward's deceased mother
- Isaac Ward: Only son of Red and Harlow Ward
- Danny Wilson: Harlow's first date at age 15
- Emily: Andrew's high school girlfriend and first love. Although he greatly misses her, he doesn't blame her for moving away for college as he would have done the same.
- Shawn Tennant: A drug dealer, with an unfortunate fate.
- Julie Morrison: Andrew's mother. She is agoraphobic and an alcoholic, leaving Andrew to care for the household.
- Red Ward: Harlow Beaumont Ward's loyal husband
