“We all know the story of the Titanic, some from family, some from the recent movie. This is the story of the people who survived on lifeboat 8. It is written in the voice of the survivors and the bravery of those who chose to stay on board. The loading of the boat and the women rowing so hard despite crew members on board. The book echos the fears, loves, passion and anxiety of the survivors of this tragedy. Including the decision not to row back and look for survivors. I liked this a lot and would recommend it.”
