“This is one of the best books I've ever read. I love the main character for his black humour and his deep feelings, and for the way he laughts at the society and plays games with all those fake people around him. I think that the idea of game is not only reduced at money and bets, because he also plays with his life that means nothing to him without Polina. This woman is the one who throws him in a degradating situation. For him, her presence itself is a matter of luck and the only thing he can do is hope and gamble.”
