I thought this book was very interesting but also confusing. Heroes gods and monsters of Greek myths is all about the gods and goddesses. I would recommend this book to many other 7th graders because, it is a good length and has lots of fun characters. We also watched the movie Percy Jackson to compare and contrast fore a assignment.

Loved the descriptive tales and it was amazing to see how all the beings came to be. My favorite tale would probably be Midas because he is a lot like me. he is greedy but then he learns a lesson, that is basically how i am. I would give this 4 out of 5 stars because it was confusing at times and hard to follow. It turned out to be a great story!

This was the first book assigned to my students. It contains on Greek god, goddess, demigod, or tale per chapter. At first, these chapters seem separate. However, in time the tales become interwoven and the reader is able see how all the beings are related in some way. I would give this text 4 out of 5 stars because, although it is not my favorite text in the word, it is valuable to read about all these beings and see remnants of this text in other words such as films and books.

This book is confusing at times but it has a lot of detail and tells many different stories. If you like mythology you will love this book.
