My love of the 1995 BBC production of Pride and Prejudice continues on through this book. When a good story ends, you still want to find out what happened, and this was the perfect continuation. The characters are made more whole because of what Berdoll has written and the events that takes...

The author claims to have read "Pride and Prejudice" but I beg to differ. If you are a fan of Jane Austen, this book will drive you crazy. The language tries to mimic Austen's style but comes across as confusing. It's like the author took a plot from another (trashy romance) novel, used a...

I liked it but it describes their sex life quite a bit.

Few PandP female fans didn't fantacise about Lizzy's and Darcy's wedding night. I know I did and so did the author of this sequel to PandP. But she thought that she couldn't write a book just about L's and D's amorous and sexual life, so she felt obliged to build some kind of (unconvincing) plot around it... I swear I tried to finish this book but it just drove me mad. I presume that the writing style is supposed to be a subtle tribute to the elegance of the old-fashioned but refined XVIII-XIXth centuries litterary style but it has all the pomposity and clumsyness of a Mr Collins. So, basically, this book looks like a sequel to PandP written by Mr Collins or (if that one is too scary to imagine) by Mary Bennett. I am sorry to be so harsh but this is PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, one of the most sacred books in our litterary pantheons!
I didn't rate it "I hated it" because the wedding-night description was OK. I think the author should have made a one-shot fanfic out of it: it would have been much more fulfilling than this over-grown litterary monster.

Worth a read for JA lovers of P&P, but just a warning....it gets really hot and heavy so tie on your bonnets ladies-wow! Sizzling hot and tends to make you visualize Colin Firth more than a 19th century Mr. Darcy. You have been warned! :-)

Ehh... A little overdramatic, frequently absurd, yet still better than some P&P fanfic out there.

This was not at all what I expected to read as a sequel to P&P. The dialogue and interaction between characters was not believable.

didn't finish, worst book ever written. If you're a fan of erotica and don't like or haven't read Pride and Prejudice, go for it!
