Yes | No“Great protagonist in August Kleinman, a self-made millionaire who made his fortune in brewing beer. Told in the present and in flashback to childhood and World War II. Kleinman is the child of a woman who took him from Germany to escape the Holocaust of Jews and who is haunted by his past, especially by a violent encounter with a Japanese soldier during the war. Kleinman exemplifies bravery. ”
