“This slim, plainspoken volume goes into many philosophical aspects of bullshit, humbug and lying as a function of human communication. While not at all comprehensive, it is thorough in its argument and supplies many supporting instances from literature, poetry and philosophy. Once you get over the initial shock of “bullshit” being every fourth word, the going is easy and smooth, and the philosophy is communicated with the common person in mind. ”
