I'm not usually a big fan of short stories, but Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell was so great, I had to give this book a try. I found that I liked the longer stories best, but they are all good. My favorites were "Mr. Simonelli, or the Fairy Widower," "Tom Brightwind" and "John Uskglass and the Cumbrian Charcoal Burner."
