This wasn't bad; I liked it better than "Coma." Interesting medical thriller.

Can't find a superlative to describe this book! A wonderful, emotional family story blended with medical horror. Even after reading umpteen Robin Cook's cant predit the flow of the story!! Has a touch of Toxin with the same physician father and sick daughter thing, but story takes a different direction after that. An amazing ending! Loved it!

This is about a little girl who suffers from a continuous fever, and she is admitted in the hospital, and it is found that she hosts blood cancer...her dad strives to find and curb its cause, and fights custody with the chid's mom, one that is totally unconnected with divorce, and questions his own mental stability instead.just as much of a good book as the others from Cook(i actually did a bad job reviewing it)
