“If I were to choose any Austen novel to make into a soap opera--and I would never demean any of them to such a state, but if I were--it would be this one. One of Austen's best novels, in my opinion. Fanny Price is so passive, unlike many of Austen's heroines, but she still manages to find her own happiness.”
