In general, it was a "feel-good" story, although it was definitely over the top in the way it tried to make you believe that this could happen in real life. I was pleased when there was a small twist about 3/4th of the way through the book that changed things. The Christian themes in the book were inspiring, and I felt myself wanting to be a more positive person because of this. Fairly good book. ”

She has a nice style of writing. These are a bit on the romantic/suspense side of things, but not in an overdramatic way (not that I've read any Harelquin romance books, but not like those), I would say these are like "chick flick" books.
Kristen Heitzmann is considered a "Christian" author, so there is a bit of churchy stuff thrown in, so I tend to skip that since it is a little to simplified for what I believe.”

She relies on the kindness of strangers, but there are some people who think she's taking advantage. Until her possessions start turning up and her car is heard screaming down the main road in the night. This was an excellent romantic suspense novel! In fact, just writing this review makes me want to read it a third time.

Still, it is a good story, easy reading for a rainy day.”
