The novel begins with the first battle against the Bad. The King of England and his knights as well as myths, legends and folklore fight side by side to destroy the evil beast that wants to devour everything.
After finding after the battle that a small part of the beast is left, they bury it, held imprisoned by magic under an oak tree. There it's left. The magic holding it tight based on the belief that mankind would forever believe in the mythical creatures such a faeries and dragons.
1000 years later and that spell is very weak. It's only a matter of time before the evil is free and reigns down destruction on the world of men.
One day, a young boy, Solomon visits the wood of Birchover. A small creature with a distrusting heart sees the boy and now knows how to free the evil. It's only a matter of time. The boy must be taken to the evil beast and there it will take over the boy and free itself.
The second battle will begin and the myths, legends and folklore will have to be summoned once again to fight the Bad. This time, they have a young boy to save, but how? As the evil monster is inside the boy and controlling him.
If they can't save him, then he has the power to destroy everything living, starting with the faeries and his own parents.
