A fun and humorous book. I loved all of the Greek mythology and comments about how it has continued on in Western civilization (for example, George Washington was Athena's son). Some parts were extremely predictable and the characters were a bit cliche, but they were enjoyable nonetheless. Oh yeah, and none of the characters act their age except Luke. Percy and Annabeth were /so/ not 12-year-olds, even with the excuse of being demigods. What really bothered me, though, was how Grover ate...

    The fisrt time i picked up this book,i questioned the title for each chapter,then it all fell into place at the end.This series,by far,is one of my favorites aver,but i am currently reading the titans curse

    I just fiinished book 4 of this series--they are an awesome read. I think they are even more interesting than the Harry Potter books. I was even lucky enough to meet the author and have him sign my copies of his book. A very nice man.
