Hamchuck says it was exhausting and heoic true story and I agree. I started to read this, because a fellow at work, loves adventure and talked about Shackleton's voyage, which sparked a desire in me to investagate. I normally would not choose this type of read. But, I must say I am glad I did. The writing takes with him, the cold and fear and desire, determination cares these people and at the end, he returns to pick up his crew.
