I really enjoy the Valdemar books, but for the common reader a few notes... If you're homophobic don't read them, this author is very open about alternative lifestyles and it can sometimes interfere with the story line. My husband liked these books, but I don't see a lot of men enjoying them. It almost (but not quite) crosses the line between fantasy and romance. I still really enjoyed them and I have to say I haven't met a romance book I've liked yet. Because of the unique approach these...
