I picked up this book in costco based entirely on the cover photo. I guess it doesn't take much to get me interested :) It was lucky buy! Who would have thought the subject of coal could be so interesting and compelling?! For me it was, and I learned so much about so many different things, not just the history of coal. It's full of fascinating factoids and stories that are hard to come by unless you're a researcher or writer, which I'm not. I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys...
