“I have been waiting for Reseph's story since when we were first introduced to him in Eternal Rider. I always believed in my heart of hearts that Reseph would turn good again (at least that was my wish). Throughout all of the first three books, I constantly wondered how Larissa was going to pull off turning Reseph good again. Well at the end of Lethal Rider, we found out how and I could not wait until Reseph's story was released.
I know I am in the minority when I say this but... I am disappointed-let down- deflated at how Reseph's story turned out. I do not believe my let down stems from being over excited about the book. It literally took me a month and a half to finish the book. This is not the norm for a Larissa Ione book. Put it this way, I was able to re-read Pleasure Unbound and finish it while I was reading Rogue Rider.
I felt the first half of the book was too sappy! The beginning of the story focused strictly on Reseph, Jillian, and their attraction. I am the first to tell you I love romance stories and the building of the relationship between characters yet that is not Larissa Ione’s style. She has the ability to intertwine romance while the character is facing demons in Sheoul-Gra. I was so used to the adrenaline rush from the previous books that I just kept wondering when are we going to get to the good stuff? Where are the demons and the OMG factor? What is this lovey-dovey google eye stuff from Reseph who still has Pestilence living inside of him?
Well 68% into the book I found what I had been expecting from the beginning. The action started- hell erupted-and I found that I could not put the book down. The ending gave us surprising information that no one saw coming (unless you read spoiler reviews).
Although the book still had Larissa’s trademark style, I felt much of what I have come to expect from her was not there. However, one slightly disappointing book does not spoil the library for me. I am still a huge Larissa Ione fan and will eagerly await Reaver’s story.”
“Awesome writing. Ione knows how to world build and stay true to her world. ”

This book will capture you from the very first page and take you on one hell of a ride.
If you have not read Larissa Ione's Demonica Series or Lords of Deliverance you have missed out on Paranormal Greatness so do yourself a favour and get the books and be enthralled by the brilliance that is Larissa Ione.
The Reading Order for Lords of Deliverance is
Eternal Rider
Immortal Rider
Lethal Rider
Rogue Rider ”

Yes | No“ "Rogue Rider" was a long awaited installment of the Lords of Deliverance Series and I, for one, am thoroughly pleased. I've been trying to figure out how Ione would successfully interpret the demon "Pestilence" and the man "Reseph". I loved it! A great "ending" to a fantastic Paranormal Romance! I am sincerely looking forward to exploring "Reaver" in the future.”

When I started with the first book, I wasn't sure that I was going to like it, because paranormal is not my usual genre of choice. However, this series just got better with each book and the fourth was a great culmination to it. ”
