I liked the plot of this story and who doesn't love a perfect hero but I wasn't crazy about the heroine. Early on her behavior was inconsistent and later she seemed over-focused on her issue. Newly unemployed sports writer Jessica moves west to write a book when she frequently runs into sports doctor Fisher.

So call me cupid but I love seeing these two, from opposite ends of the stick making a go for each other. Wouldn’t you? As the pages turn, you can see how the plot sizzles and the explosive chemistry between the characters will make you roll over laughing. Though this is my first time reading a book by author Robin Kaye, Ms. Kaye was able hook me in right at the first chapter. Call Me Wild is riveting and wickedly funny, the comedic quirks the author included kept me laughing from the beginning to end. Especially at the way Fisher was being rejected by Jessie. Overall, this is definitely the best romantic comedy I have read all year.

I do like Kaye's heroes, sure this was only my second book but I have looked at the other books. They are just heroes that I would want to meet.

On to the review. We have a heroine who does not believe in romance (she has reasons) and who thinks she can sell a romance novel and make some quick cash. I was a bit on the fence first but then I got to know her more and understood her thinking.

The hero then, oh please let me have him. A doctor who loves to cook and clean *dies*. Yes please cook me dinner and clean my place. He is the perfect man, well except that he is sporty and likes healthy food ;)

The romance is a chase, he wants her, she only believes in lust (figure out for yourself what they do next). They struggle with feelings, they fall in love and there is drama.

And yes, it's book 2 in a series, but I have not read book 1 and it did not matter. It's a perfect stand alone.

    Conclusion:
It was a nice romance with a different heroine and a hero anyone would want to meet.

Robyn Kaye first captured my attention with Romeo,Romeo and with each book in the series she has continued to earn my adoration.
I love her style of writing and I absolutely love this series. Each book just keeps getting better and I don't want to see this series end. I cannot wait for Trapper's and Karma's books and I hope that there will be more after that.(*hinthint*/*winkwink*)
I have been waiting for Fisher's book since reading about him in Yours For The Taking and I was not disappointed. It was everything I hoped for and so much more. Wow...what a great book. Call Me Wild was such fun to read and just a great way to spend my day.
Oh, how I loved this story. Fisher and Jessie were great together and I wanted them to get the HEA that they so deserved. I loved seeing Hunter, Toni, Ben, Gina, Kate and Grampa Joe. I can't wait to see what Robyn has in mind for Trapper and Karma~Trapper has always been my favorite!!! I hope that Andrew may also get his own book!!(hinthint)
I was pulled into the story immediately by such entertaining characters and places that made me wish were real. I had trouble putting this book down~I love getting lost in a book. Robyn Kaye created a world with this series that I didn't want to leave and that I love returning to with each new book. Call Me Wild was a great addition and makes me want to reread the series while also looking forward to the next book. This is definitely in my keeper pile and is a definite reread!! BEST OF THE BEST rating!!!

"She never noticed what any of her other lovers smelled like. She never noticed how their voice deepened and pupils dilated, changing colors when they got excited, or even what color their eyes were. Hell, she couldn't even remember how they kissed, or what they looked like when they came. But with Fisher, she knew, she watched, she noticed, and she felt." *sigh*

Call Me Wild by Robin Kaye
    Domestic Gods Series Book 6
Dr. Fisher Kincaid has been a bit off since his twin brother, Hunter, recently married. With his handsome surfer look of platinum hair and his green eyes added to his lovable personality Fisher never lacks for the attention of women. And then he meets her, Jessica. A woman who is more likely to run in the opposite direction to get away from him rather than to run to him.

Jessica James has just lost her prized job as a sports writer in New York. Andrew, her best friend, is letting her stay in his Boise, Idaho home as long as she works on the novel she always said she would one day write.. Only every time she turns around there’s this handsome flirty guy. He follows her as she jogs, goes to Starbucks and at the grocery store. She decides he must be a stalker, although such a handsome hunk of a stalker.

Another great addition to this series. I love how the author brings Trapper, Hunter, Karma, Ben, Grampa Joe and others back into the book on a regular basis, often at very inconvenient times. Robin's characters come to life and pull you into their antics. Yours for the Taking (book 4) is cousin Ben’s story and Wild Thing (book 5) is Hunter's story . You may want to start with book 1 to enjoy all the stories and get to know the characters from the very start.
