“The story line of this book isn't what I thought it was going to be, but it was okay. However, I thought the maturity level of the two main characters was a bit silly. At times they acted like teenagers instead of adults.”

“Did I just read chick lit? I think I did.

On the positive, the mystery of who killed the really, really unlikeable teenage girl was pretty mysterious. I had my theories. One of them did pan out, but it was not particularly obvious. So I liked the mystery aspect.

But the really broad soap opera sort of characters were hard to jive with. I must be kinda cynical because the extreme macho of our Love Interest had me sniggering out loud. I have met a lot of bad teen girls but never one like the victim. The heroine is so unbelievably perfect. We have a corrupt law man now making trouble as a used. car. salesman. I don't think this book is presented as a deep novel or anything so I am probably expecting too much.”

I would give this three stars. I did enjoy reading Low Pressure and found it to be somewhat entertaining. It’s just doesn’t measure up to some of past books I’ve read by Sandra Brown. Some other books I’ve really liked from Sandra are: The Witness, Chill Factor, Hello Darkness, Smoke Screen, Ricochet, White Hot, and Play Dirty.”
