“Typical Connelly - suspenseful story, good characterizations, occasionally predictable plot twists. I'm assuming (hoping, perhaps) that a future book will touch on the specifics of why Bosch managed to get out of this one intact - the explanation given here seemed a little bit too 'rabbit out of the hat' for my taste, with insufficient justification for the character's actions.”
