- Mirabelle Lively: aka Mira; Protagonist and main character. A 15 yr, soon to be 16 yr old, orphan girl living in California. She was raised by her two Godmother's Bliss and Elsa.
- Elsa: One of Mira's godmothers. She works as a professor at a nearby university and is a book worm type.
- Bliss: One of Mira's godmothers. She owns a crystal and charms shop. She is very girly.
- Blue Valentine: The first person she meets on her trip to Beau Rivage. A real jerk!
- Freddie Knight: Blue's best friend. Very sweet and old fashioned gentleman sort, who has a thing for damsels in distress.
- Felix Valentine: Blue's older brother and Mira's love interest; runs the casino for his father
- Henley Silva: A friend of Blue's. He's Vivian's gardener/boyfriend.
- Vivian Deneuve: Another one of Blue's friends. She has a wicked stepmother.
