• Claire Danvers: Main character. 18 and a resident of Morganville. Girlfriend of Shane. Loves science and is super smart. Works for 'evil scientist' type vampire, Myrnin.
• Shane Collins: Born in Morganville. Boyfriend of Claire. Lost his sister to a house fire, mother and father to a murder, all at the hands of vampires. Very loyal and committed to Claire and his best friends.
• Michael Glass: Born in Morganville. Boyfriend/Fiancèe of Eve. Was locked in his house as a ghost due to Oliver's attempt at turning him into a vampire gone wrong. Amelie eventually turns him into a vampire successfully and now he is stuck coping with his new self. Like Shane, he will do anything for his friends, since they are the only family he has left.
• Eve Rosser: Born in Morganville. Best friend of Claire. Girlfriend/Fiancèe of Michael. Doesnt speak to most of her family. Dresses 'Goth' (which is pretty cliche.. but whatever).
• Naomi: Amelie's blood sister who is pretty and intimidating
• Bishop: Amelie's father. Dead.
• Frank Collins: Shanes dad, mean bully, who is now wired to Myrnins computer. And was a vampire.
• Miranda: Crazy physycic now a trapped ghost in the glass house
• Monica Morrell: She is morganviles queen bee. Lost her family is now a orphan.
• Amelie: Founder of morganvile and has a thing for Oliver.
• Mrs. Morgan: Creepy old lady down the street (flirts with shane)
• Pennyfeather: Evil henchman. Frequently tries to kill Claire and friends
• Annabelle Lange: Secretary who is little too "friendly" in claires opinion to shane
• Jason Rosser: Eve's brother who is now a vampire. He tried to kill Eve when they were younger.
• Angel Salvador: Skeptic paranormal tv host
• Myrnin: Claire's crazy boss..cares for Claire dearly. Likes to wear werid cloths. He also has a pet spider named Bob. Likes to wear vampire bunny slippers.
• Bizzie: Amelie's ever present assistant
• Sam Glass: Micheals grandfather Amelie's lover, Sam was loved and respected by everyone. He dies at the hands of Bishop.
• Flora Ramos: Rebellious human advertising captin obvious
• Hannah Moses: The new mayor of Morganville. Was in the army. Loved Monica's brother, Richard who is dead.
• Alyssa Collins: Shane's sister, killed in a house fire when they were young.
• Bob: Myrnin's pet spider.
• Enrique Ramos: Son of Flora Ramos
• Oliver: Amelies love, cold and heartless being controlled by naomi
• Jenna Clark: Clerk at store
• Richard Morrell: Former mayor of Morganville, Monica's older brother.
