- Henry Marco: Main character who takes contracts from people in the safe states to locate their loved ones who are zombies and permanently kill them. He usually offers proof back to his clients in the form of wedding rings, etc.
- Kheng Wu: Chinese assassin sent to get the vaccine for zombies to return to China and kill Henry Marco once it is found.
- Osbourne: Government man who sends Marco on a mission to find a doctor who has been working on a cure for the Resurrection virus (zombie virus).
