“One morning, Cath wakes up in a strange bedroom. 'City' a handome blonde dressed like a banker that she sees everyday on the train but does not know, rescued her and had to bring her home because she would not tell him her address. They fall for each other very quickly but her past and his family get in the way.
I was a little worried that the relationship between the two of them happened so quickly but that was not an issue at all. Nev and Cath already resolved all of the sexual tension so what was left was to watch them get to know each other slowly. There was no info dumping here. Cath has quite a past and it all comes out naturally. Nev's issues with his family are handled nicely too. They are not caricatures or plot devices. For all their meddling they do love Nev. The book's pacing is good. No rushed info or dragging out the conflicts. The conclusion is very satisfying. All in all it was fun to be in Cath and Nev's heads. ”
