- Harper Lee Donovan: The smart-alecky, witty protagonist who is recovering from her brother's accidental attack. Is described as ivory-skinned with white-blond hair and pale blue eyes.
- Alex Cole: The dimpled Shifter with whom Scout fell in love. He was killed by Jase and Charlie in the last book, but visits Scout in her dreams to guide her.
- Talley Matthews: Scout's best friend. Is a Seer. Is described as curvy, porcelain skinned with wavy black hair and kind blue eyes.
- Jase Donovan: Scout's stepbrother and one of her best friends. Is a strong Shifter and turns into a coyote. Is charming, charismatic and caring.
