I love this story, the older tin-tins seemed more serious, but the new tin-tins have become more fresh.

It was one of my favorite Tintin books when I first read it when I was 7. I might have read and re-read it about a million times. I remember almost all of the 62 pages in this book.

This was the very first Tintin book gifted to me by my Grandfather. I was 8 years old then. But thanks to my grandfather and thanks to Herge I was hooked to Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock and every else. Since then I have read all the tintin books 'n' number of times. What can I say...Tintin is the best

still remember the day....my 6th bday was nearing and i first set eyes on the book lying on a coffe table at my aunt's place...snowy s pic at the helm of the boat caught my attention..n i took it home thinkin it was a story on the dog...wasnt all about him but got me hooked nonetheless...and turned me into one big fan of the boyreporter-faithfuldog duo until this day....my first tintin...heres to you...and all those rainy evenings i read and re-read these comics with my hot cuppa cocoa :-)
