“I have enjoyed all of Bushnell's other novels. This one, about three top-of-their-game New York career women, was no different. Her novels have layers of character develoopment and complexity that most other "chick lit" genre books never aspire to. While I didn't agree with all of the characters' actions, I was able to follow the paths of reasoning that led to those choices and so was still very much able to identify with each woman. Very mucn enjoyed this one.”

“For what is supposed to be a kind of 'Women's Empowerment' book, I found the characters to be lacking in self awareness and common sense. I almost stopped reading it a couple times because I was so disenfranchised (sp?)with the way these proposed 'powerful modern women' conducted themselves. No real substance. I did not take anything away from this book.”
