Be careful what you wish for...
A seemingly innocuous love spell caused Catherine, Sian, Laura, and Kassandra to cross worlds in search of their soul mates. But more than love drew them to Gar'nyse. Truths are revealed and lives forever altered after an attack at the castle. An age old feud between two archaic families threatens to tear the world they've arrived in apart. As the ultimate weapons in such a war the four girls are the only hope for peace.
But one of them lies unconscious from the attack, and the destiny that awaits her when she wakes will change everything.

Reader review-
As soon as I opened up the first page of Awakening on my Kindle, it literally felt like I tumbled into the world of Gar'nyse and was there with them every fantastic second of the way! Whether I rode on Loushka with Alek, or basked in the sun with Sito while the girls practiced at excelling their powers, it literally felt as if I was there for it. I cried for them, when they mourned their past lives, and was happy for them when they got better and better at their powers, and fell more into love with their soul mates. I also loved the sass of this book, like the flashing of colors at night time ;) and I loved getting to know the other characters, such a Sian and Loi, and the men. I love Sian and her free spirit, and Loi's immature attitude at times gets her in a bit of trouble (brawling with a princess) I just loved it all! I cannot wait for Feel The Burn to come out, although I will try to read it slower than the last two because it will be bittersweet, I don't want this series to ever end.

Quotes edit see section history

  • “Kassie tried to resist staring at them, but found it hard. Not just because they were centaurs, but they were so huge. Their human half looked like Rumal and Daron put together, with bulging arms and thick necks. Sian, Cat, and Loi sidled up close and their linked energy hummed between them as each voiced thoughts, curious and admiring, with more than a little trepidation. Elena told them this morning that they would learn to ride on them because a centaur would be assigned to each girl as their bodyguard. Kassie flushed at the thought of riding one. Oh God, that'll be embarrassing. It seems indecent. The others agreed. I can't ask them to wear reins, how the heck will I stay on? Loi choked back a giggle when Kassie thought that and all the heads of those there turned to stare at them.”
