A fitting sequel to The Passage, though it was tough to get back into the characters' lives after all this time. I imagine that reading the eventual trilogy together would keep things in better perspective. I wonder if the publisher thought this, since both a character list and re-cap are included for readers. I read a lengthy summary of The Passage to get ready (that book is too long to re-read!), but I had to play along at times, and hope that the storylines would come back to me. Looking forward to the next one.
