  “the story revolves around a young boy who discovers he had been kidnapped years before and is returned to his 'real' parents and family.
  I thought this was a YA book, but, there were parts that were almost 'thrown' in-rape/incest/beating that were cringe worthy. 2.5 stars”

  “The kindle version had quite a few simple grammar/spelling/word choice errors that should have been found with a round of proof-reading. The narrator sounds like a 12 year old, and the story feels like one that is aimed at pre-teens, and yet the material is definitely not kid-friendly (rape, borderline-incest). I felt like this could be a good coming-of-age book directed at 12-15 year olds, if it was cleaned up a bit. Even I cringed at some parts and skimmed.”
