Somewhat futuristic, a little scary and keeps you guessing. Some parts are predictable as to what is going to happen. Don't think there can be a sequel or prequel. An easy read but not as easy as his Alex Cross and
other books.”

“Wow. Patterson must have channeled the ghost of Michael Creighton to write this. Fast-paced, terrifying, and hauntingly possible. You simply cannot put this book down once you start reading it, so be warned. ”

“This was a good book, but a little predictable at times. I loved the reasoning behind the epidemic and I hope there will be a second book because it kind of leaves you hanging but at the same time it could also be the ending. It also sheds a light on human behavior and the destructive selfishness that could lead us in to an apocalyptic future with man against animal. ”
